The procedure is provided under the stringent guidelines to provide a medical procedure with minimal risk of complications. There is also little chance of reaction because the material being injected back in to the patient is from their own blood. When PRP is injected into the skin it initiates a local stem cell response.

Blood tests and medical consultation are required for all new IV patients. Dr. Maria Comyns will ensure infusions are administered safely and comfortably. These infusions take around 45-60 minutes, and it is recommended that patients are well hydrated and have eaten prior to treatment.
